My sister lived in Odessa from 1981 to 1984 and I came to the Fest each year. This will be my first time back since and I look forward to the food and festivities.

We come to Odessa to get away from the Wenatchee light dome so we can do some night sky observing with our telescope. It is my favorite place to observe. We stay outside Odessa and get very dark skies. Nice that you don't have to light up the night sky.

After graduating school there I moved to TX. I've been trying to return to Odessa for a visit. It would be nice to be there during Deutschesfest. If I make it this year, I hope to see all of you then.
